Araulen Park by Gina

Once again, my friends Laura and Colleen, brought me to one of their favorite places...Araluen Park!

 We got some AWESOME shots of the kookaburra bird!  We were so excited, but especially Laura who has been waiting a year to get a good photo!

we had a great time and I got some great shots of the flowers!  The tulips were in bloom and it was breathtaking!  Hope you enjoy!

Pics of our House

Hey, sorry, we haven't updated lately.  Just been tryng to get settled in.  Bear with me...Will be tons of pics to catch up!

Here are a few pics near our home and a few random shots!

Now, the first time Carlee, Doug and Chad go to the beach and get in the water!

We were so lucky to be able to get introduced via email to Laura Coleman before we got to Perth....we were invited to their home for dinner (Gene, her husband and Blake, their son) and the kids (and the parents, too) enjoyed themselves so much!

Today, the 11th, Laura and her son, Blake took us around to a couple of Parks....one had parrots that landed on us!  and the other we were able to see lots of Kangaroos!

Lastly, we drove around the University of WA and the marina is next to the campus!

We are enjoying Perth so far!  So much to see!    Chad and Taylor are practicing to play for a baseball club over here.  Carlee got to go to a practice/training for volleyball on Sat.  Doug and I went to a house party for a fellow Chevron couple.  Carlee babysat for one of the couples and she really enjoyed it!
