How long is flight from Baton Rouge, LA to Perth, Australia

Haha well for us it ended up taking almost 4 days.  We were supposed to leave on Friday but unfortunately our flight was delayed so long that we had to push all our flights back.  So we go back to the airport the next day and after much trouble with the American Airlines employees we finally get on a plane to Dallas.  When we arrive in Dallas two hours before our next flight the United employee tells us that we cannot get out boarding passes until 1 hour before the next flight so we sit down and wait.  When they finally start giving out seating assignments, we get to the desk to find out that we are not booked on the flight from Dallas to Los Angeles.  Come to find out, American Airlines didn't reschedule our flights for the next day.  There were not enough seats to get us on the flight to LA so they had to rush us on to a flight to San Fransisco.  We were literally running through the terminal to make it on the plane but luckily we made it in time.  The problems just started there.  Once we made it to San Fran we realized all of our luggage was being sent to LA and then we were not seated together in business class on the way to Sydney like our original flight plan said.  So I had to go to the United counter where I was treated very rudely by the United employees.  Finally everything was worked out and we were on the plane to Sydney in business class all together.  Once we reached Sydney we waited around for our luggage to get off of the plane from LA that we were supposed to be on but it never came.  We found out later that it was still stuck in LA.  After this, we go to the Qantas airline desk to get our boarding passes for the flight to Perth but again we were not booked on this flight either.  American Airlines had not rescheduled ANY of our flights after they screwed everything up.  We finally got everything worked out after we were sent back and forth to the United counter back in the International terminal.  We got on our plane and 5 hours later finally made it to our new home in Perth nearly 48 hours later.  It was an exhausting trip but it was very great to see our dad again.  And that is the story of our travels... more to come...
